Frequently asked questions.

  • I do not directly accept insurance, but i provide documentation (e.g., receipts, invoices, or “superbills”) for you to be reimbursed by your insurance company for out-of-network providers (if applicable).

If you are interested in using your out-of-network insurance benefits, I recommend calling your insurance company to inquire about your out-of-network benefits.

  • It depends!

I do offer teletherapy (via secure, video platform) where appropriate and am able to see patients in 40+ U.S. States through PSYPACT (check here to see if your state is included).

However, since I often provide therapy to young children, I find that virtual services many times do not provide the same benefit as in-person services. Some services, such as play therapy, cannot be performed virtually. On the other hand, parent counseling can be provided more readily through telehealth and often offers increased convenience for busy parents.

If you are interested in teletherapy, I recommend scheduling a consult to determine whether virtual services might be appropriate for your family.

  • Give us a call or fill out our ‘contact us’ form and we will get back to you within 3 business days to schedule a free consult!

  • Therapy is a working relationship! When it comes to your child, we will be working as a team to help them thrive! The consult is an opportunity for you to meet me, ask questions, and get a feel for whether my practice might be a good fit for your family.

The consult also gives me the opportunity to gather a little information on what you are looking for and ensure that my practice is the right fit to support your needs! If we aren’t the right fit, I am connected to a wonderful network of therapists and can help point you in the right direction.
